This type has a 2-plate structure, consisting of the main part on which the image is engraved, and a front plate. The front plate has a window aligned with the image, and the circumference of the image has a margin.

Products of this type appear to have a mat finishing on the original image, and have a relatively similar appearance in which an ordinary photo is placed in a frame; therefore, this product looks normal when placed as an ornament.

Both the main part and the front plate are made of highly corrosion-resistant stainless steel material of 1.5 mm thickness; therefore, products of this type are extremely strong. Since the product is protected by the front plate, it is less likely that products of this type will get scratches on them compared to products of other types.

Since products of this type have double layer, it is necessary to assemble them by drilling screw holes. The card type is not available for this design. It is possible to create the window on the front plate to be smaller than the image part and to have no gap between the image and the front plate. It is also possible to create the window on the front plate larger than the image so that the front plate does not cover the image (see illustration).

If the size of the window is smaller than the image, the circumference of the image is hidden by approximately 1-2mm. Moreover, the shadow of the front plate may fall onto the image, depending on the light.

Image circumference processing

If the size of the window is larger than the image, the circumference of the image on the main part will be exposed by several millimeters. Gradation margins and black margins are available for the processing of this part.

As shown in the illustration, the front plate is created with a size slightly larger than that of the main part so that the main part will not be hidden when looked at diagonally.

Installation method

Drill screws at the same positions on the 2 plates and insert bolts or others through them to fix them. Due to strength and durability related reasons, the round holes plus bolt method is suitable for products to be placed indoors, and the round hole plus anchor bolt method is suitable for products placed outdoors.
