We assume that general photos of people include backgrounds, such as a room or a landscape around them. The background may be shown clearly or may be blurred.

In Millennium Photos, a special process is performed so that the face of the person in the center has a three-dimensional appearance; therefore, their face is especially emphasized. Of course, not only main subject themselves but also the background of the original photo is reproduced (we can also create a different background from that on the original photo using computer graphics). With Millennium Photos we can express the brightness of the background using wavy lines, concentric circles, radial lines and geometrical patterns such as check patterns. With such patterns, the background also has various different appearances depending on the incoming light in the same way as people in the picture, and shows fascinating mysterious effects.
